Pursuit Across the Rhine
Chapter I: Roman Decision
Fresh off his victory at the Vosges, Caesar orders his legions to pursue the Germans all the way to the Rhine...and beyond. Over 10 days, the legions construct an engineering marvel, bridging the mighty river into the unknown forests on eastern shore. The men cross warily, with talk of evil omens lurking in the woods. There are no Germans to be found on the far bank, with Ariovistus and his survivors having melted away days ago.
The Roman player rolls 1d8. On a result of 5+, place Roman Honors on the Upper Rhine. On a result of 1-2, the men spread rumors of dark forces in Germania, resulting in the removal of Roman Influence from Sequani.
