Chapter IV: Roman Decision
During the winter of 55-54 BC, Caesar makes extensive preparations for a large-scale invasion of the British Isles. He assembles nearly 800 ships, many of them based on Venetic designs. He recruits Gallic chieftains and merchants with prior experience travelling across the sea to this mysterious new land. The only question is...how many legions should join Caesar on the journey?
The Roman player must decide how many legions to bring to Britania. Several legions must be left behind to garrison and safeguard Roman interests in Gaul.
